We’re excited to have you come and worship with us here at The Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. It is our belief that the Bible is the greatest guide ever given to man. Instead of the complex, formal service that marks many churches and denominations, we follow the direction of the Holy Spirit and the Biblical order laid down for the church.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The only means of eternal salvation is through Christ.  By grace, through faith in Christ, we receive God’s salvation and forgiveness of sin.
Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8 2.20

The Bible is inspired by God and given by God.
II Timothy 3:16

God is a three-part being:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  These three are God and are in perfect harmony as one.
John 15:26, John 1:1-4 & 14, Colossians 2:8-9

Through Christ’s sacrifice, the shedding of His blood on the cross, our sins were remitted.  Christ was beaten so that we can be healed.  In all ways, Christ paid the debt we owed to God because we were full of sin.
Isaiah 53:5, Romans 6:23 5.

We need the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that we will not only witness of God in our lives by word, but also by deed.  Through the Holy Spirit the believer has the power to serve God to the utmost and to be used to the fullest extent by God.
Acts 1:8, Acts 2-4, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:44-45

OUR VISION – OUR METHOD

Evangelism
The mandate to the church has not been rescinded:  Go ye into all the world preaching the Gospel and discipling men.  In response to this great commission, our vision is to establish churches world-wide to proclaim the Good News of God’s love and power to a world filled with despair, heartache, sickness and guilt.
Discipleship
The divine pattern and strategy for discipleship was revealed through the relationship of the Lord Jesus and His twelve disciples, and that pattern must continue by the local church as responsibility to disciple men through “hands on” practical training at the local level.  This has proven to be fruitful and productive ministry.  Discipleship is a critical need in this closing hour of human history; we are endeavoring to respond to that need.  To respond to this mandate we have planted three other churches in Fresno, Grover Beach and Oakhurst.
Personal Growth
The bible describes a Christian’s relationship to God as a living, growing, and loving relationship that requires continual maintenance and growth.  The Biblical criteria for such growth is four fold:  1) Prayer, 2) Bible study, 3) Consistent church attendance and 4) Witnessing.  Our services and church life are designed to  promote a healthy and steady growth in the Body of Christ.
Prayer
Prayer is not a glorious privilege, but a vital necessity to communicate with our God.  Daily prayer meetings are a normal part of our church lives to promote and encourage God’s people to pray.
The Family
We believe that the family unit is the cornerstone of society.  Accordingly, our ministry places an emphasis on the family that brings the needed healing and direction to a society that has caused the near-destruction of the family unit.
The Church
The church is to be the militant force that will shake the foundation of the devil’s stronghold upon the earth.

We are a praying people, a praising people, a unified people, a church marching onward, a church dynamic!

Global Partnerships
T.L.C. also partners with Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship and many countries around the world.  We currently send financial support to BRAZIL-Acts Ministries/John & Wanda Haynes, INDIA-Christ for India Ministrires/Rev. V.A. Thampy, Golden Bowl Ministries/Joseph Zeyak,

The Global Action Plan consists of four points:

  1. Global Fellowship Alignment
  2. Global Prayer Mobilization
  3. Global Faith Sponsors
  4. Global Fellowship Participation

The aim of the Global Action Plan is to present the opportunity for everyone to become a vital part of the global harvest and to help each one understand how important we are in the fulfilling of God’s plan for the ages.

Areas of the globe we are currently in partnership with include:  Asia, Brazil, Africa and Antigua/Barbuda.

OUR PURPOSE
To be involved disciples of Christ by reaching the unsaved with the saving gospel; to teach and train the saved so that they become fruitful and mature believers; and to equip and release leaders to further the cause of Christ locally and into all the world.
